Dr. Mwiya Imasiku

ADVISORY BOARD
Dr. Mwiya Imasiku is a former Head of the Psychology Department (2007- 2012) and Medical Lecturer of Behavioral Science at the University of Zambia in the School of Medicine (2012-2014). He is renowned for championing the Traumafocused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) approach in Zambia. Currently, he is an Associate Victims Expert at the International Criminal Court. Mwiya has a long history of lecturing, training and mentoring behavioral science students at all levels from Diploma to PhD level. He has worked as a practitioner and consultant in several Non-Governmental Organizations in and outside Zambia including Legal firms as expert witness, UNDC, Refugee Camps, Catholic Relief Services, International Justice Commission, and the Regional Aids Training Network. He has served as a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zambia.
